3D Analogue

3D Analogue Audio Remastering Services:

We can (if not busy) reformat anything from 2ch stereo audio
By converting it via our upmix, as a dual-mono vertical image

That is:
We convert normal stereo 2ch signals into a completely different, very unique format (one created by us – almost by accident, away back in 1965), being one that we haven’t made use of, (this way – until recently), until deciding to simplify the mega-multiple channel surround sound systems we had become bogged-down with testing, and extending, such as the massive 25point 7 system we did as a cellphone recorded “single mono” clip – that we used for a video (on YouTube).

Thus we can take your vinyl or compact cassette tape, or CD, (and can even work with the more modern computer based 2ch stereo formats), to create a new, completely different, yet exactly the same (you will hear the difference) as a modified audio sound – by reusing using the original recording our way

Taking a standard Left/Right format – we will convert it into a Back2Front format, which still uses the standard commercially manufactured L&R labels – on an amplifier/speaker system.

However we label L&R differently, by reusing the same labels
Our “new” R(ight), becomes Height & the L(eft) = Low/Depth
Where we reused the R side of an amplifier & an R speaker, to become the Height Channel by feeding it that signal’s “output”
delivered to the TOP HALF set of speakers as seen in OUR vertically stacked, “array” (of several multiple speaker sizes)

Thus L now becomes the L=Low (Depth) channel, by feeding the Lower (Depth) channel’s signals into the speakers in the lower half of our stacked array “Dual-Mono” single tower unit

A centrally positioned (general purpose) speaker is situated (precisely) at the exact middle / center of the stacked tower

This is fed the summation result of co-joining both signals from the Top & Bottom halves of the stack, to allow that speaker to operate as the median (middle) channel, which supports but is also different – placed between the other two

By having the Front-of-Stage sounds, concentrated in the upper / top half of our array, we thus have an image of a very tall single positioned speaker, as the lower half gets fed an “out-of-phase” (completely different) audio signal set, that comprises all of the normal audio sounds, one can hear clearly – from the BACK of events, such as an open air concert stage

This thus creates an image of a VERY TALL stage, which has a sonic “presence” comprising the 50% normally heard sounds from the Front-of-Stage area (at the top), whilst providing those other sounds as a different 50%, (being rear sounds “most quietly, some at zero”, that are normally suppressed by front sounds), that when combined give TWICE the content at the same loudness, because NOW – with three dimensions you do have VOLUME, at all sound level settings.
VOLUME does nothing for or against loudness, as it contains all the missing depth & height that 2D images cannot provide

By adding these two 50% contents together in one huge stack, the 100% result provides a listener with ALL original content, not just a mere 57.7% of a standard 2ch stereo

Thus one gets to hear (magically) much more height & depth – whilst losing some of the width that a stereo L&R provides, however without the “side to side time delays and NO sweet spot”, (& absolutely no deadened spots either, as none of the content from either speaker, is able to “self cancel – it’s exact mirror imaged sound, from the other half of the tower, as it is NOT there), you get to hear a lot more content than you ever heard with (not so good) old fashioned, 2ch stereo systems.

What can now be heard as a sonically different set of audio tones, that at worst (at the same frequencies) are still 90 degrees “out-of-phase” and NOT the 180 degrees “out-of-phase”, that causes self-cancelation, (as the effect of self-cancellation, without a sine-wave of similar value, is never long enough to get heard as a loss, when the audio plays

Plus – two signals that arrive at precisely the same time at the same place, (instead of the other half of a 57.7% stereo effect, which is delayed when it arrives at either ear), there is absolutely no chance of any interfering signal occurring

Check it out, all our sound tracks (in this website) have been reformatted BEFORE being uploaded, so can be played by any two mono systems, (even in the same room if both are fed the two signal sets, at the same time) meaning you can keep your old equipment, as stereo simply means a system with more than 1 channel so everyone has accepted that as if it was just TWO, when it isn’t, stereo simply means “more than one”.!!!

If you have 2 mono amps, you can get 2 signals being fed to the 2 amplifiers, which will feed their own speakers, and when you feed a stereo amp with the 2 signals and get 2 outputs for the 2 speakers, that “resultant sound” will co-play the same tune, somewhat differently to what YOU have been taught..
ie:
Listen with both sides of your brains – as these are NOW fed different sounds, arriving at the same time – into each ear.

This version has been completely remastered (away from standard L/R stereo).
Then placed into our own VERTICAL-STACK-ARRAY©™QUIX4U “Dual-Mono”
(as a new style, using our old 1965 invention, which is actually a DEMUX device)

This creates a NEW stereo format, where the R (Right) channel has become the HEIGHT output, and the L (Left) channel is the lower “depth” channel.

Yes – it is “almost” the same song that (you think) you know, but now it contains ALL 100% of it’s actual “playable content”, not just the bog-standard 57.7% that a normal L/R stereo audio-image produces, as it now contains the other 42.3%.

BETWEEN these two channels, there now ALSO resides another, which cannot EVER be obtained from using a bog standard 2 speaker stereo – which is created from “combined” HARMONICS, obtained from TWO different MONO channels.

MUTUAL harmonics, coming from BOTH speaker outputs, boosts the area between the two outer speaker channels, such that there is a solid INFILL of sound, never heard before (sometimes not even by the original artists, or studio engineers), yet there it is, FLOATING somewhere near the middle of the array.

Plus the (old) normal L/R stereo “image” arrived/arrives into your two ears via a FLAT horizontal plane, of sound, separated by several m/s of time, such that the Left ear hears the Left speaker BEFORE it hears the right speaker, yet the Right ear, hears the right speaker, BEFORE it hears the left speaker, forcing your brain to “select which sound” it hears, or forces you to try and MERGE the two, into a single sound.

Imaging ???

That flat horizontal-interference (between left and right “time-arrivals), creates what others attempt to call a SWEET SPOT (where both are loudest) yet in doing this, there are MANY variables, such as reflections and other degrading forces, that detract as much if not ALL of the music produced from the two speakers, when placed a distance away from each other, (even if maybe yards, or meters apart), relative to the listener, meaning there is a (non crisp) mushyness around a single tone, with several thousand other frequencies also arriving at the same time, to further force the brain to go into overload, as it tries to process all of these sonic differences. Without having anything to “balance” the sine waves that are merely 60 degrees apart, being the upper (or lower) “lobes” of two 120 degree separated sine waves, which looks like a two stranded (of three strand) cord or cable, that (because it is physically missing the 3rd “balancing” strand), loses a lot of it’s designed strength – yet that is EXACTLY what all stereo music has been “sold-as” (to the general publc), since 2ch stereo overtook mere MONO

Then I came along in the early 50’s to start teaching myself, that I was hearing a lot of UNBALANCED audio content, (even in old fashioned single channel MONO)

Hence why I started questioning what everyone else had accepted as plausible.

I asked the simplest question of all….
WHICH MONO am I listeneing too ? (that they’ve been forcing us to listen too)
After all – each individual ANALOGUE channel is “in, & of itself” – just a MONO.

Having TWO with sine wave lobes on the same side of CENTER, leaves a HUGE gap, on the missing third lobe. Thus I set about (in earnest) during 1965, to FIND where the missing 3D content could be EXTRCTED from, after discovering it’s existence when fiddling with something else….

Time went by, and I sold many (prototypes) trying to obtain the best system of multiple speakers – to onsell to others and or to use for myself.

Then I realsied an important fact.
BECAUSE our huan brains work, on the assumption that sound that does NOT arrive at our ers at precisely the same time (from any direction) we (the original hunted animal) actually DO NOT NEED to hear some sounds, which means that our own brains have been working against us, all these years.

HOWEVER, I am from a farming background, so KNOW what is – and isn’t – a “warning” growl, especially at night, when we had stray dogs interfere with our sheep, and thus I’d go into the flock to investigate (as an inquisitive child does) to hear the dogs GROWL (louder) and because I couldn’t see them – I had to “listen well” to the image that their sound produced, to know where the dog was.

I NEVER EVER ran “away from”towards” a single growling dog, so why should I have to rely on JUST ONE subwoofer placement, just because a deep throated warning was prduced there (when watching movies of wild animals)?

Knowing that wild animals HUNT from unseen places, it was logical to know that their recorded SOUND, wasn’t reproduced correctly, so why run the wrong way?.

Oh and ….
By having ONLY the one horizontal position, of BOTH speakers, our VERTICAL method ensures that BOTH EARS receive exactly the same Dual-Mono audio image (in a vertical orientation) – which neither aggravates, nor overloads the listener’s brain, instead the listener can thus RELAX better as now there are NO (zero-noise) dead spots, thereby allowing one to HEAR MORE, because both SPEAKER OUTPUTS are 90 degrees OUT OF PHASE (with each other), meaning that neither degrades, nor improves, the other speaker’s output, even with the same (frequency related) sine waves coming from both, as they remain at the same 90 degrees “out-of-phase” aspect, irrespective of being together, OR at either end of a long hallway (or very long room).

Hence it the audio is a NEW WORK, as it adds MORE “audible / heard content”, than any naturally played “standard” (commercially released, common mode) two channel stereo system’s L/R can ever produce using “original-copy” material

Why?
Well 42.3% of all stereo L/R content is MUTED (sometimes to extinction) due to 180 degree “opposing frequency interactions” occurring between JUST two speakers, whereas by “summating” those two AND supplying the listener with not only the FRONTAL summated (normal old radio) mono sound, but by also now providing the 42.3% of formerly MISSING content, along with the reduced 7.7% of the frontal speakers, via the THIRD (Delta Phased) channel, (where there is zero conflict between the two produced channels) all former missing content is LOUDLY brought out, to a listener’s hearing, thus all 100% content is being heard

Now, your brain automatically places, sounds, around you, as this effect plays.

As 50% comes from the upper R=HEIGHT speaker;
And 50% comes from the L=LOW (depth) speaker.

Providing an actual 3D effect, while adding more content (being that which has always been hidden) merely by “playing” the original old two channel stereo SIGNALS – through my 1965 DEMUX Decoder (a wonderful invention) that I have abused to “as much destruction as could throw at it”, yet there it is, fully working, just the same way it did, back in 1965, when I discovered NINE direct ANALOGUE channels contaned within any 2ch stereo output (from a tape or vinyl recording)

Oh sure, I have a way better demux device “now” – however it still uses the ONE designed circuit, that I discovered away back as a 12 year old first year high school student, in 1965, when doing “my own home work” instead of schoolwork

Doing, whatever the H*%L that I wanted to do, instead of “set homework”, which was a distraction for me back then, and in my 70 plus years, I still have no need for FRENCH, or History, or any of the other useless high school “subjects” !!!!!

YET – having found SOUND in this way, I have found that it is fully playable, on the same old horizontal imaging stereo system’s TWO speakers, if one FIRST places the R = Height speaker UP & directly ABOVE, the former L = Low speaker, (which is inverted to become the mirror image of the upper speaker cabinet), while both are now retaining the ONE physical floor location “property”, being that of a SINGLE MONO speaker, while having TWO mono channels, doubling the output.

L/R is no longer (interferring) as Left & Right, but plays Depth & Height content.

All you need to do, is either BUY one of our DEMUX devices, (at a rather stiff price point), or request that your “privately uploaded to us” audio content, be altered via the TRANSFORMATIVENESS action, of us doing the remastering, using all of our methods of extraction, with a better balance of outputs, to ensure the best playable result.

NOTE:
Only genuine multiple channel L/R stereo content, can be reformatted in this fashion, otherwise the loudness difference becomes too great, if two “same signal” mono channels are provided, as BOTH will head to one side, (with nothing going the other way).

We will cost out the effort needed to undertake these (standard) remasterings, here in our own studios, before you can (after suitable payment) download the content which has been thus reformatted, for you to then use or sell yourself..

After all, there is virtually no other way to get this Height & Deph Analogue effect.

We’ve been remastering music since 1965, and haven’t ever heard of any other entity doing the same ANALOGUE “thing”, possibly because they never had our FREE parts shops, being those ever-open 24/7/365 roadside public use, and private (farmer type) rubbish dumps, from which we extracted anything useable, (during the 1950’s & 1960’s etc.), when doing our own salvaging work, long before it became a THING, to recycle broken or otherwise unusable devices, containing something of reusable value.

Now, everything which COULD be salvaged by innovative inventors, is not only carted away (in huge trucks), it is savagely compressed thereby destroying any functionality it had, and tipped into landfills, that no other person is able to access, let alone scramble-through & recycle usable parts that have survived.

I know – as I was a founding board member of the local Community Based

CENTRAL OTAGO WASTEBUSTERS Inc.
And was a member of their recycling facility, which was “supposed” to be aiming towards 100% recycling, yet fell into the trap of JUST doing a few profitable things, and stockpiling other “rubbish” (until the entire facility burned to the ground).

Now another recycler has taken over, also extracting JUST the best and tossing the rest (not into stockpiles of rubbish onsite, but into the nearby Rubbish & Refuse Crushing facility, where nobody will ever use anything “from that” ever again)

Just having SOME things recycled for profit, leaves all innovations stranded, for free (destroyable) parts, before an invention can be tested beyond it’s destruction

Or proven to work, regardless of HOW MUCH it is abused.
And believe me, I have left a trail of destroyed amplifiers (and speakers) over many years, in a quest to find a solution that is near bullet proof, if not idiot proof

Note:
Placing one speaker above the other, isn’t all that can be done, as these can be taken – to the extreme, and placed as wide apart as you need, because they DO NOT EVER interfere with the other output, thus they won’t create sweet spots.

All that will happen is that one will appear louder than the other, depending on which “output” you are closer too.

As you move away – even to either side, the resultant mutaul sound effect, will simply become less loud.

It’s the same with a single position MONO (Dual Channel) “Vertical-Stack-Array©™QUIX4U, as this defines the active single output point, thus the further away you are, the less LOUDNESS you will hear, whilst all-around, it’s all around

Walking around any such “stack” will result in the same sound output “effect”, no matter where you go.

Don’t take our word for it though, take your own two speakers and attach BOTH to a tall tree – away out at the farm, and walk away.
The sound will follow you – no matter where you walk, with JUST the loudness being affected.

Using the remastered rotated stage tune we made, gives you TWICE as much bass PLUS it’s 3D 3rd channel between the outer two, allowing you to use a 2.1 amplifier to gain that 3rd channel (select normal/full-noise not just the sub-bass)
